1. Monolithic EC2 Setup
• All services were tightly coupled and deployed manually on EC2 instances.
• No auto-scaling or resource optimization, leading to overprovisioning and inflated costs.
• Application updates required SSH access and manual restarts, causing delays and downtime.

• A fresh VPC was created with Public and Private subnets across multiple AZs
• Route Tables, Internet Gateway, NAT Gateway, and VPC Endpoints were provisioned for a secure and scalable architecture
• Isolated environments for development, staging, and production were established
• All EC2 workloads were containerized and deployed using Amazon ECS with Fargate
• Graviton-based tasks helped reduce compute costs while improving performance
• Services were attached to an Application Load Balancer for intelligent routing and health checks
• AWS Secrets Manager was used to securely inject environment variables into ECS tasks
• IAM roles with least privilege access were assigned to ECS services
• ACM was implemented to enable SSL/TLS encryption across all services
• Self-hosted GitHub Actions runners are deployed within the CrowdBuzz infrastructure for fast and secure CI/CD
• Automated build, test, and deploy workflows were integrated with ECS to ensure zero-downtime releases
• Artifacts and images were stored securely in Amazon ECR
